Jordan Lake State Recreation Area

Jordan Lake State Recreation Area

Jordan Lake State Recreation Area located in Apex, North Carolina is an absolute must visit if you are in the area. The campsites are amazingly huge with an incredibly amount of space between sites. There are over 1,000 sites to choose from. When we visited there were hardly any campers on our loop. We had this beautiful campground to ourselves, for the most part. There is a massive lake with...

Buck Creek RV Park – Marion, North Carolina

Buck Creek RV Park – Marion, North Carolina

Buck Creek RV Park located in Marion, North Carolina is simply spectacular. It is one of our absolute favorite spots since we began our journey. There is an amazing stream that rushes along the campground and most of the spots are located directly along the stream. We took the dogs swimming, we swam, people were fishing in the stream. It was quite ideal. Marion, North Carolina is an incredible...

Croft State Park – South Carolina

Croft State Park in South Carolina was our first stop in our full time journey where it felt like "camping". This is a "woodsy" park. Like many state parks it is difficult to navigate and manuever large rigs. This...

Colleton State Park – South Carolina

It's very cramped quarters, not a lot of privacy but nestled right along the Edisto River. Our camp site was said to be the "Best Site" on in the campground and it's hard to deny. We walked out of the door and toward the back of the RV we had an amazing view of the water....

Crooked River State Park – St. Mary’s Georgia

St. Mary's Georgia is a peaceful and quiet town and this state park is no different. The camping spots are well spaced apart for plenty of privacy. The park itself is surrounded by water and quite scenic. We had a chance to catch up with some family and made a video about our adventure into downtown St. Mary's. All in all, this was a pleasant stay and we would be happy to visit this area...

Tanglewood Village – Vero Beach, Florida

Tanglewood Village – Vero Beach, Florida

We Had An Amazing Time at Tanglewood Village. This was our very first stop after moving into our RV fulltime. I'm confident that there was a certain bit of euphoria that played into these feelings about this RV stop. But honestly, Vero Beach Florida is a beach town. Who doesn't love beaches? Tanglewood Village has a large snowbird population. There are some full time residents and there are...
